I've not visited many fields, unfortunately, but this is one that I can (and will) visit often.

Just bring plenty of drinking water if you come during summer. Those hills can make a guy sweat. :)Richardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16080050613624485848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7344498494799149794.post-44659484986685117072012-06-18T20:12:42.867-04:002012-06-18T20:12:42.867-04:00As a student of the 79th Pennsylvania of Starkweat...As a student of the 79th Pennsylvania of Starkweather's Brigade, thank you for your efforts. I hope to visit the battlefield soon, hopefully even before the corn is harvested!

Vince
www.lancasteratwar.comVincehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07443492379769127484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7344498494799149794.post-3919358270229614942012-05-28T19:40:03.367-04:002012-05-28T19:40:03.367-04:00Good luck on your research. If you ever in or near Kentucky again, please consider visiting Perryville. There is also a great Civil War museum in nearby Bardstown and a couple of Abraham Lincoln sites fairly close by as well.

I am not an official part of any volunteer group of Perryville (yet) but Richardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16080050613624485848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7344498494799149794.post-8347137590269052862012-05-28T18:43:32.697-04:002012-05-28T18:43:32.697-04:00Nice Pics. Never been to Perryville, however. Sounds like you are part of a volunteer group. We saw several groups at both Chickamauga and Lookout Mountain two weeks ago at work.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
