An excuse for another trip to Perryville?
This exhibit sounds quite interesting. I may have to make a trip down there again in October. I had thought about it, but was recently leaning to going to Richmond and Camp Nelson cemetery instead. Perhaps 2 trips are in store? It seems a bit ambitious to try both in one day.

I am heading down to Perryville on October 9th, the week after the reenactment. I plan on spending a little time in the museum, but then hiking all the trails with my gps, which means pretty much all day. If that sounds like something you might be interested in, let me know.
ReplyDeleteIt would be hard to do both places in one day, especially if you like to really explore.
I saw that on your blog, but could not figure out how to leave a comment. I still think I want to go to Richmond and maybe Camp Nelson Cemetery, but I am interested in that exhibit. I'm just not sure when I'll be able to do it. If I decide soon, I'll contact you, but it's probably going to be a last minute decision
ReplyDeleteLast minute is fine with me (like no later than the day before), be prepared for ten miles of hiking. :)
